My fully interactive and energetic workshops are an unforgettable experience and a fantastic opportunity for the children to work alongside a real-life illustrator/author.
I’m regularly seen promoting a love of drawing and books in UK libraries and at festivals such as NCBF.
I regularly illustrate for a variety of clients from worldwide publishers to ceramic companies to small independent companies and local councils.
My fully interactive and energetic workshops are an unforgettable experience and a fantastic opportunity for the children to work alongside a real-life illustrator/author. The children (and adults!) leave the hall absolutely buzzing with confidence and full of happy brain chemicals! I also manage to inspire reluctant learners, pupils with behavioural issues and even ‘non-arty’ teachers.
I run a series of fast-paced drawing/writing workshops throughout the day from 9am-3pm. Who I meet and work with is entirely up to you. If you decide to make a booking, I will send you an information pack that details everything. There are a few different workshops options to choose from and you can work out which one will be the best for your school.
Every school is unique so every visit is bespoke. I have worked in huge, international schools all over the world and I’ve worked in tiny pit village schools down the road. I have worked in remand centres, sixth forms, lots of SEND schools, even the WI so nothing phases me.
Some days I meet the entire school for short taster sessions and some days I might work with selected year groups with an emphasis on a certain topic. The children get my undivided attention all day and I give 100% effort into every performance.

Why not ask Paul Cookson and I to visit your school as a duo ‘Poetry & Pencils’. He performs his poetry whilst playing his amazing ukele and I draw the colourful characters at the same time. We always have kids and staff rolling in the aisles. See our joint website! www.lizandpaulpoetry.co.uk
